Ghana premier league club, Techiman City has secured a $50,000 sponsorship deal from Samara company Ltd, manufacturers and distributors of SASSO mosquito spray.

The newly promoted premier league are preparing to play in the upcoming league which is scheduled to start this weekend for the first time though their qualification is still been argued out after a bribery and match-fixing allegation was levelled against the club by Wa Africa united.

The new deal is expected to replace the Nasona Oil sponsorship package which failed to materialise because of the uncertainty surrounding their Premier League status.

Techiman City has received $25,000 of the total sum and the remaining amount will be paid in the mid-season.
