Sarpei appointed as coach of TUS Bruchhausen

Former Ghana international Hans Adu-Sarpei has been appointed as the head coach of German lower division side Tus Bruchhausen.

The 37-year-old has been tasked to push the club forward and also nurture talents for bigger clubs, Goal Ghana understands.

Sarpei until his appointment was a sports analyst on German television station Tele5 and also featured on so many sports related events on other international media.

The former Black Stars lateral defender spent his career in Germany playing for clubs such as Wolfsburg, Schalke, Duisberg, Koln and Leverkusen.

He played in two World Cups for Ghana and is currently the fourth Ghanaian player to become a coach in Germany after Ibrahim Tanko (now in Cameroon), Sebastian Barnes and Otto Addo of Hamburg.
