Samartex holds Dwarfs

Cape Coast Oct 22, GNA - Samartex defied the massive home support of Ebusua Dwarfs to hold them to a pulsating 1-1 draw in their outstanding league match at the Cape Coast Sports stadium of Thursday. Samartex who outplayed Dwarfs in all departments of the game, scored the opener through their midfielder, Joseph Boahene in the 15th minute. This came about when outside left, John Adzamatey after collecting a pass outpaced three Dwarfs defenders and gave a pass to Boahene to score the opener.

The early goal disorganised Dwarfs and allowed Samartex to dictate the trend of the match for the greater part of the game. Dwarfs however forced the tide in their favour in the 30th minute and following series of attacks in their opponent's vital area, outside right, Nana Quaye, levelled up the scores in the 35th minute. The second half saw both teams struggling hard to carry the day but there were no further scores until full time. 22 Oct. 04
