SWAG announces rates for SIC/H. P. Nyemitei Cup

Accra, Aug. 25, GNA - The Sports Writers Association of Ghana, (SWAG) has announced the rates for the second leg match of the SWAG/SIC H. P. Nyemitei Cup match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Obuasi Ashantigold billed for Sunday, August 29, at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra.

A statement signed by William Ezah, Acting General Secretary of SWAG said 2.00GHC will be charged at the Popular Stands, with the Center Line attracting 3.00GHC.

According to the statement, the VIP (Lower) will go for 5.00GHC, whilst the VIP (Upper) will attract 7.00 Ghana Cedis, with the VVIP going for 10.00GHC.

It said the modest rates were settled on to encourage and ensure that football fans turned out in their numbers for the decider of this year's Cup match.

The game, which is expected to kick-off at 15h00 GMT will be heralded by a curtain raiser featuring staff of the SIC Insurance Company, the major sponsors of the event against a select side of the Retired National Footballers Association of Ghana (RENFAG).

The first leg held in Obuasi barely a month ago ended barren.
