SWAG Cup: Agaza To Play Kotoko

Accra, May 26, GNA - Former Togolese international Bachiru Salou leads a selected national team players of Togo to beef-up the country's premier side Agaza Omnisport as they come up against Asante Kotoko in the H. P. Nyamitei-SWAG Cup match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday.

A new giant silver trophy donated by the State Insurance Corporation (SIC) is to be competed for under floodlight, after Kokoto won the old one for keeps in 2003.

The SWAG Cup match is organised yearly by the Sports Writers' Association of Ghana (SWAG) to precede its awards night but has been rescheduled in recent times due to a jammed national soccer calendar. SIC has given the two teams a 300 million-cedi insurance cover and donated 40 million-cedis to the organisers.
