Rovers beat Liberty Rainbow

Cape Coast, April 23, GNA - Free scoring Cape Coast Nader Ahly Rovers beat Ankaful Liberty Rainbow 2-0 in their Second Division league match played at Robert Mensah Stadium at Cape Coast. After a goalless first half, Rovers came back strongly to score two quick goals though their goal maker, Muntala Mohammed, in the 55th and 58th minute to carry the day.

Results of other league matches were, Agona Abrem Shalom F/C beat Abreshia Nsamaka F/C 2-1, Oguaa United drew 1-1 with Adisadel Great Astronomers, Abreshia F/C spanked Efutu Citrus Professionals 3-1, Praso Weaco F/C drew 1-1 with Assin Akrofuom Santos F/C, Assin Adiembra United Stars beat Assin Kushea Owirenkyeman 4-3, Assin North United also beat Dunkwa-On-Offin Starke F/C 3-2.

Dunkwa-On-Offin Republicans beat Mankessim Mighty Victory 3-2, Saltpond Kampsite beat Mankessim Mighty Victory 3-2, Abura Dunkwa Galaxy F/C lost 1-2 to Mankessim Great Royals, Amosema Dunkwa Galaxy F/C drew 1-1 with Saltpond Brondby while Mankessim Striking Force made mince meat of Yamoransa Youngsters with a 3-1 trashing. 23 April 08
