Round of 64 enters second phase

Accra, Jan. 25, GNA - The round of 64 stage of the Ghana

Football Association (FA) knock-out competition enters the

second phase this weekend with Premier League Clubs seeking to

advance to the next stage of the competition at the expense of

lower division clubs. Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be at the Baba Yara Stadium,

Kumasi to welcome Division One side, Danbort FC of Nungua in

a match the latter has vowed to ride over the former. However, Kotoko who in recent times have seen a surge in

their performance leading to an improvement on their position in

the League table seem to be in no mood to drop their guards. At the Wa Stadium, Instabul Stars will play as guests of All

Stars with Berekum Arsenals taking on Ajax FC at the Golden City

Park, Berekum. In-form Heart of Lions will be play KFC Stars at the Kpando

Stadium, whilst Medeama Sporting Club battle relegation

threatened Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Tarkwa Stadium. Berekum Friction will take on B.A Stars at the Golden City

Park on Saturday, January 29 to complete the second phase of the

round 64 matches.
