Roger Osabu to handle Hearts/Arsenal match

Accra, Aug 4, GNA- Tamale-based referee Roger Osabu has been appointed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to take the centre stage in the titanic mid-week Kinapharma premier league duel between Accra Hearts of Oak and Berekum Arsenals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, according to a release made available to the GNA Sports on Monday by the FA.

Referee Osabu will be assisted by Mumuni Isaka and Mohamed Awal both Tamale-based referees with SK Antwi as the Match Commissioner.

In Accra on Thursday, G. Muller-Nyarko of Manpong will handle the encounter between Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals and Kpando Hearts of Lions. He will be assisted by S.C. Baidoo and William Boateng all of Kumasi with the Match Commissioner being G.B Awuakye of Accra.

E.N Adjei of Accra will be in charge of affairs in the Sekondi match involving Hasaacas and Mine Stars with assistance from Faustina Ziorkui and TA Brown, both Accra-based referees. The Match Commissioner is Ewudzi Sagoe of Cape Coast.

The match between Real Tamale United (RTU) and Okwahu United to be played at Bolga will be officiated by referee Stephen Oduro of Kumasi with assistance from Asoma Amadu and John Okrah of Sunyani and Kumasi respectively with Oscar Darko of Bolga as the Match Commissioner. In the encounter involving Goldfields and Accra Great Olympics at Obuasi, Frank Fudzi of Ho will be assisted by VL Demarkpor also of Ho and Hohoe-based Yusifu Jibril to ofiiciate whiles Match Commissioner Obiri Yeboah will supervise.

Ho-based referee E. Adega will be in the centre stage as King Faisal take- on Stay Cool in Kumasi with assistance from Dan Ahali and Anim Nyarko of Koforidua and Adukrom respectively, whiles the Match Commissioner is Nana Obiri-Boahen of Sunyani.

Referees R.Y Kwarbo, S. Fiifi Gyan and Moses Pornotey all Accra-based referees will take charge of the Sunyani match between Homesters Tano Bofoakwa and Kumasi Asante Kotoko with T. K. Amoako of Tamale as the Match Commissiuoner.

In Koforidua, referee Charles Dowouna of Accra will be in charge of affairs as Power FC welcome BA United to Koforidua. He will be assisted by Samuel Quaye and Victor Dwamena of Accra and Tema respectively. The Match Commissioner is Accra-based J.O Odai.
