The playing body and officials of the Right to Dream Academy will be presenting the five trophies they won on their European tour to H.E President John Mahama at the Flagstaff House on Sunday October 25, 2015, at 1:30pm.

The RtD Academy is considered as Africa's leading education and soccer centre of excellence.

Situated in Old Akrade Akosombo, the centre was established by Tom Vernon ; a coach, educationist and social entrepreneur from the UK in 1999.

It holds the proud record as the first fully residential soccer Academy for girls in Africa following expansion in 2014.

The RtD U-17 team is the most successful at that age category in 2015.

Every twelve months, between 25,000 - 30,000 young players are assessed during trials and other related tests.

Only the very best are eventually selected to study and train at the academy on full scholarship. Some notable past graduates are; Black Stars pair David Accam and Abdul Majeed Waris, Joshua Yaro and Yaw Yeboah the MVP at the 2015 African Youth Championship.

The Black Queens who won Women's Soccer gold at the just ended All African Games and other medal winners will first present their awards to President Mahama.

The players and officials were in Accra to present the FIVE trophies to major sports stakeholders in Accra on Monday, making a stop at the office of Ghana Football Association President, Kwasi Nyantakyi.

The team headed to the Accra Sports Stadium where they had a brief press briefing with the President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, Mr. Kwabena Yeboah.

The delegation made a final stop at the office of the Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Mustapha Ahmed who was joined by the Director of the ministry Mr. Seth Agyen and the Director General of the National Sports Authority Mr Joe Kpenge.
