Richmond Boakye’s late goal nails Afriyie Acquah’s Parma

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom struck at the death to hand Atalanta a 1-0 win over Afriyie Acquah’s Parma on Sunday in the Italian Serie A.

The on-loan Juventus man came off the bench in the 76th minute to replace Marco D’Alessandro and he made his presence count for the minutes he spent on the field.

Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante spilled a long range shot and Boakye, inside the box, put his leg through to score his second goal for the Nerazzurri.

Boakye was making his eighth league appearance and compatriot Acquah played the entire duration for Parma.
