Richard Ofori predicts 6 teams to compete for GPL title

Ghana and Wa All Stars goalie Richard Ofori is expecting a reverting title chase for the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League title.

The 22-year-old gloves man was in inspired form to help his side record an emphatic 3-0 victory over Hasaacas in match day one of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season.

The nature of the victory has whipped up enthusiasm with some hopes of Wa All Stars finally putting up challenge for the title.

With fans getting carried away with the dominant display goalkeeper Richard Ofori says there is still a lot of work to be done and expects five to six clubs up there at the end of the season.

“We played very well in the first game and that has lifted confidence,” Ofori said

“Its always good to start very well but that has been it we have to continue working hard.”

“There are a lot of teams looking good from the first game so we have to continue working really hard.”

“I expect the competition for the title to be keen and well contested, it will be about six teams fighting for the title.”
