Lille manager Herve Renard has said Ghana youth star Yaw Yeboah will need time to mature into his full potentials.

The 18-year-old Manchester City starlet has made two Ligue 1 appearances and assisted a goal for Les Dogues in the Coupe de la Ligue.

Yeboah, who played for Ghana at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup, has shown great prospects with his two games for Lille raising expectations from Lille fans.

But manager Renard, who was once a physical trainer for Ghana, has insisted the former Right to Dream Academy graduate needs time to develop into his full potentials.

Let’s go gently with Yaw Yeboah. He has got loads of talents in him, but must assert itself and grow up. He is full of spontaneity,” he commented on the youngster after his performance in the Cup win over Troyes.

Yeboah is one of the four (4) Ghanaian players playing in the French top-flight after Stade Reims’s Grejohn Kyei, Dennis Appiah (Caen) and Majeed Waris, who plies his trade with Lorient.
