Ghana FA referee Patrick Kyeremateng is facing a lengthy ban from the Ghana Football Association's Match Day Review panel over his decision not to award a penalty to Hearts of Oak in their victory over Bechem United last weekend, according Asempa FM.

Hearts had a legitimate call for penalty ignored by the class one referee who was in the center of that game.

The Phobians fans and technical team protested vehemently but the appeals were overlooked but Hearts went ahead to win the game 3-1 to perpetuated their winning run in the Ghana Premier League.

But Ghana FA's Match Review Panel have analysed the video footage of the game which was telecast live on TV across Africa and have found the referee culpable.

Kyeremateng is expected to respond to his charges by close of next week but he is likely to be slapped with a six-game ban.
