Referee Kotey to handle Dynamos/Zamalek match

Accra, Sept. 18, GNA - Ghana's referee Alex Kotey has been assigned to handle the Champions League match between Dynamos FC of Zimbabwe and Zamalek of Egypt by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) on Sunday, September 21 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Kotey, winner of the 2006 Referee of the Year Award of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) will be assisted on the lines by compatriots George Seijah and B.A Ahmed with Joseph Lamptey as the fourth referee.

Information gathered by GNA Sports reveals that the referees have since left for Zimbabwe for the crucial match. Both sides need a convincing win to enhance their chances of advancing to the semi finals of the competition.
