Referee Attifu heads Hearts and Okwawu match

Accra, Sept 15, GNA-Tarkwa-based referee TRK Attifu has been assigned by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to take the centre stage in the colossal 21st week Kinapharma Premier league encounter involving defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak and Okwawu United at the Accra Sports Stadium.

To assist him on the lines are Referee R. Sertorwofia and Ruben Laryea both based in Tarkwa whiles J. K. Kwarteng of Tema acts as the Match Commissioner.

In Accra, J H Quarshie of Sunyani will be in charge of affairs as city rivals, Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals and Accra Great Olympics engage in another bitter rivalry at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday. His assistants are S. Anyomi Tako and Gyawu Kyere of Sunyani and Berekum respectively while K. Ampim-Darko of Accra acts as the Match Commissioner.

Referee of the year J. Wellington of Accra takes charge of the encounter between Obuasi Goldfields and the 'Nokia Boys' King Faisal at the Len Clay Stadium. He will be assisted on the lines by A. Annan Lomotey and Abigail Sowah both Accra-based referees with Sunyani-based Anthony Danso as the Match Commissioner.

Tema-based referee Agego Azizah will manage the affairs involving Tano Bofoakwa and Prestea Mine stars in Sunyani. To assist him are D. Y. Asare and Addo Gyan of Tema and Nsawam respectively with the Match Commissioner being A. P Agbovi.

In Sekondi, referee Frank Fudzi of Ho will be in charge of affairs as Hasaacas welcome bottomed-club, Stay Cool Professionals. He will be helped by George Seija and M. A. Doku all Ho-based referees. The Match Commissioner is P.K.A. Essah of Swedru.

The encounter between BA United and Real Tamale United will be handled by G.K. Zorve of Kumasi. He will be assisted by Boadu Ayeboafo and Osei Agyeman all Kumasi-based referees. Mr Stephen Kpen of Wa will act as the Match Commissioner.

Referee F Osei Nsiah of Kumasi takes charge of the match between Power FC and Berekum Arsenal at the Koforidua Park with assistance from E. T Allotey and George Barlow both Kumasi-based referees whiles Ken Johnfia of Accra acts as the Match Commissioner.
