Referee Ametepe banned for six weeks

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has banned referee Yaw Ametepe for six consecutive matches for awarding a bad penalty to New Edubiase in their Week 21 match against Wa All Stars.

The executive committee of the GFA has approved the decision taken by the match review panel.

Consequently, the executive committee has decided to suspend Ametepe for a period of six(6)consecutive matches, starting from week 24 of the ongoing 2011/2012 GLO premier league.
