Red Bull Academy Host Third World F/C

Division two side Red Bull Soccer Academy based at Sogakope in the Volta Region will today play Gt.Accra division two side Third World F/C in a friendly match in Sogakofe.

The duel serves as preparatory game for the academy lads for their impending division two promotional league in the Volta Region.

The “Bulls”of Ghana football who are brimming with confidence after trashing Accra Hearts Of Oak 3-1 at the same grounds a fortnight ago are confident to dismiss their opponents.

According to the Technical Director of the Academy ,Hans Peter Schaller ,his focus will not be on the score line but tactical discipline and individual performance on the pitch as he hopes to assemble the best squad for the middle league.

Three players, Kwame Frimpong,Felix Adjei and Ibrahim Mohammed who are at national U.17 camp preparing for the 2nd leg tie against Libya in Tripoli on Sept 12 for the 8th African youth Championship Algeria 2009 will be absent in today’s clash . Also missing today’s game is Jonathan Eshun who is nursing injury.

Players to feature in today’s game for Red Bull Academy include ever improving Mustapha Tahiru who was in post against the Starlets of Ghana which ended 1-0 in favor of the Starlets.

In the defense, the likes of Kingsley Kwakye ,Ishmael Hammond,Livingstone Logoh and Ivorien import Etten Boaffo will be around to thwart the attacking machinery of Third World FC from causing havoc.

The midfield will be marshaled by Edem Towodjoh and Ayi Zeno with Karim Abdullai and Yussif Abass supporting from the wings.

Abdul Razak who scored a brace against Accra Hearts Of Oak and Richard Arhin who was also on target are expected to direct the balls at goal to ensure a win for Red Bull Academy.
