Red Arrows Arrive On Wednesday

DEFENDING FAZ Super League champions, Red Arrows chairman Col Steve Chilima says his team is on the right path to recovery.

Chilima said Saturday's 3-0 KCM Week 10 victory over Young Arrows was testimony that the Zambia Air Force side had started finding its feet in the league. After going six consecutive games without a win, Chilima said the league match had boosted the team's morale ahead of this weekend's Confederations Cup return leg match against Ghanaian side King Faisal Babes.

He said the team leaves for Ghana tomorrow and is expected to arrive in Kumasi on Wednesday. Chilima said the return fixture would be a fifty-fifty affair.

"The game in Ghana can go either way. We have the same chances as our opponents," he said. Arrows settled for a 1-all draw against King Faisal in the first fixture about eight days ago. The ZAF side is struggling to earn a place in the group stage of the competition.
