Accra (Indafa Park): Nana Agyei- Duku GUNNERS FC are Champions! Yes real champions as they have clinched top spot of Zone 1 (Accra district) of Ghana division 3.

Chaired by managing director of Ghana union Assurance and also culture king of mampong Nana Agyei- Duku, the team has been inspired by their mentor Ali Jarra and their abilities enhanced by (one time coach of current Blackstar’s captain Stephen Appiah) coach Sam white is aided by assistant coach and former hero keeper George Mills SNR.

The team have now qualified and are set to test their stance when they embrace the middle league with the sole aim of gaining promotion to the national division 2 league. Their achievement is by no means an easy feat, as they have surely proved their worth after being assembled from absolutely nothing. Marshalled by captain Ruby and with an average age of 20, goal scoring and thrilling football has been their main feature all season and with the silky Ajedu banging in goals from all angles and the defence holding up and leaking very little thanks to Kulsi and Abekan the GUNNERS is certainly a team firing on and marching onwards, there is little wonder and no limitation to what they are set to conquer, thanks to the visions of foreign investors and owners Kasey, Alex Quarcoo and Nii-kpapo (USA) whom all are keen to groom local players and later introduce them to links ranging from Arsenal, Westham, Barcelona and even mega bucks team Chelsea.
