...Players Pass Vote Of No Confidence In Him
Space Fm can now confirm that Coach Abdul Razak has been sacked by the new Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko!
An impeccable source close to the Board hinted Space Fm that a secret ballot conducted last night among the playing body of the Club revealed that more than 80% of them wanted the Coach out.
The reasons for such an overwhelming vote of no confidence is not immediately available as the Board is expected to officially issue a statement , in the course of the day.
Kwame Owusu Ansah PRO of the Club who was contacted could neither confirm nor deny the sacking of the golden boy, but hinted that the Life Patron of the Club, Otumfou Osei-Tutu has the intention of sponsoring the Coach on a Coaching Course in Germany very soon.According to Mr. Owusu Ansah,Coach Razak is a very special person to Kotoko and the Board would not do anything to erode the good role he has played in the club.
Mr. Owusu Ansah also hinted that currently a foreign Coach invited by Otumfour is observing the Team and may take over the technical direction of the Club soon.
It would be recalled that Coach Abdul Razak was allegedly forced to hand over his resignation letter, after the Porcupine Warriors had lost 1-2 to King Faisals in a crucial match in the on-going Coca Cola Tournament, but the owner of the Club allegedly intervened to request the Board and Coach resolved their differences.
