Razak Braimah: Uganda is in the past, Togo next

Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Braimah received some flak after he conceded a soft goal in the penultimate match between Ghana and Uganda in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers in Kampala.

Razak, who got the nod ahead of Stephen Adams and Fatau Dauda is again likely to be in post, but the CD Mirandes goalkeeper says he is unperturbed by criticisms about the goal he conceded and is focusing on the upcoming game against Togo.

“People will say what they feel and that is normal in football, I accept criticisms and I will work on my short falls.”

“The Uganda game is over, we lost and we will learn from our mistakes, but the next game is now important for us and we have to make sure we do our best in the game against Togo in Tamale.”

Although goalkeeper’s trainer, Nasamu Yakubu admitted facing headache selections ahead of the Ugandan game, it is still unclear which of the three goalkeepers will get the nod after that howler from Razak Braimah.
