Ghana’s Rashid Sumaila could be on his way out of Kuwait League leaders Al Qadsia according to the club’s Media Officer Farouk Alawadhi.

To him, the performance of the 23-year old Ghana defender places him in a class different from players in the Kuwait League and is likely to move to Europe at the end of the season.

“He is a great player and has great qualities too. I know a lot of clubs are interested in him but I cannot disclose now,” he said in an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I am however convinced that Rashid could be out of Al Qadsia at the end of the season.”

Farouk explained that the media in Kuwait have raised vital questions about Rashid Sumaila in the Kuwait League with many insisting he is meant for Europe.

Rashid Sumaila joined Al Qadsia from South Africa side Mamelodi Sundowns where he won the PSL in 2013.
