Rangers tout increased Hearts cooperation

Nigerian giants Enugu Rangers have requested increased cooperation with Accra Hearts of Oak following a successful period of mutual collaboration.

The Nigerian side responded quickly to Hearts’ request to play them on the occasion of their centenary this month. The climax resulted in a friendly between the two, honoured on Sunday night. Enugu beat Hearts 2-1 at the Accra Stadium.

SuperSport.com has learnt that Rangers want the two clubs to have a relationship spanning the areas of player development, management and access to each others’ networks in Ghana and Nigeria respectively.

Hearts’ management have reportedly embraced the suggestions, but are yet to officially reach any consensus on the matter.
