Rajevic Announces Ghana Squad

Ghana's Coach, Milovan Rajevic, has announced his squad for the World Cup African qualifier on the 5th of September in Tripoli, Libya

Black Stars are successfully negotiating a tricky group which also includes Libya, Lesotho and Gabon.

The stars lead the group with 9 points in partnership with Libya, but Ghana has the superior goal difference.

Rajevic has added Junior Agogo, who has recovered from injury. The striker recently recorded the winning goal for Zamalek against Al-Masry, which ended in a 2-1 for Zamalek.

The squad also includes Chelsea star Michael Essien and Inter's recent signing Sulley Ali Muntari, who didn’t feature in the friendly against Tanzania.

Gyan Asamoah was initially called up, but was later removed as he's sidelined for 6 weeks.
