Raja Casablanca have reached an agreement with Medeama to sign striker Nathaniel Asamoah, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 25-year-old will join the Moroccan side subject to the two teams agreeing on a fee for the impressive attacker.

The North African side has been forced to improve their squad after finishing at a disappointing 8th on the Moroccan League last season.

“We have reached an agreement with Raja Casablanca for striker Nathaniel Asamoah,” Medeama chief executive James Essilfie told GHANAsoccernet.com

“There are few issues that we have to sort out. There are issues with his visa and other matters which will have to be rectified.

“We hope to conclude the deal in the coming days.”

Raja have already raided the West African country by signing Ghanaian duo Awal Mohammed and Yakubu Mohammed who signed a two-year deal with Raja on Wednesday after passing a medical.

Asamoah, a former Kotoko striker is the leading top scorer in the Ghanaian top-flight with 18 goals.
