RTU beats Hassacas at Tarkwa

Tarkwa, (W/R) Sept 11, GNA -Real Tarkwa United (RTU), a local football team beat Sekondi Hassacas by three goals to two in a friendly football match played at TNA Park at Tarkwa.

Ebo Mensah scored the first goal in the 11th minute when Hasaacas goalkeeper, Joseph Addo came out of his line in an attempt to catch the ball but failed to grab it firmly for the striker to slot the ball into the empty posts.

Lamptey Larti made it two in the 34th minute with Emmanuel Addo scoring the third in the 48th minutes just after the resumption of the second half.

RTU in their search for more goals the strikers of surged forwards but were caught in offside traps set up by defence men of Hasaacas. Hasaacas made attempts at scoring but were frustrated as the RTU lads mounted fierce resistance in their goal kick area. Benjamin Annan's attempt to get the first goal in the first half for Hasaacas was ruled offside by the referee.

RTU on two occasions failed to find the net when the ball hit the goal posts to rebound back with the other opportunity rolling across the goal posts with the Hasaacas keeper out of touch. Hasaacas raised their game plan in the second half when they brought on fresh blood with seven changes and this seemed to come to their benefit.

The Hasaacas strikers from then on piled up the pressure on RTU and it came as no surprise when the 58th minute, Emmanuel Yamah scored the first goal through a header from a corner kick. Hassacas followed up with their second goal in the 89th minute through Joseph Bisaah.
