Quincy quits Malaga on Twitter

Ghana international Quincy Owusu Abeyie has announced his decision to quit Malaga via the social networking site Twitter.

Quincy’s announcement that he is quitting the club was then followed by a foul mouthed tirade at Malaga fans who took him on the micro blogging site.

The player was shoved to the junior team by coach Manuel Pellegrini for indiscipline last month but reports suggest he has also not been paid for six months.

“I will never forget my Malaga fans & great team-mates, I had a great time in Malaga.

Vamossssssssss!!!,” Quincy said on his twitter account. “I can’t believe that people actually believe that I didn’t turn up to training for no reason.”

His outburst prompted an angry reaction from a Malaga fan who said “f**k off!!! Focus in your own life. What do you know about being professional, look at yourself!”

That triggered a shameful reaction from the Ghanaian international who said: “To all you negative Malaga fans, I have a great life & a beautiful home. So whatever you say.. I don't give a f**k!”

Quincy has been unrepentant about his outburst which happened on Wednesday, May 18th and insisted in another tweet that “I say what I feel”.

He has had a normadic career so far joining Arenal as a promising 16 year old from Ajax. He has gone on to play for Spartak Moscow, Celta Vigo, Birmingham, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Al Sadd and Malaga.
