Queens to tour Europe and America

Accra, Dec 11, GNA - Ghana's Female national team, the Black Queens will tour Europe and America to fine-tune their preparations towards their third World Cup appearance slated for the Republic of China next September.

The team which will represent Africa alongside the Super Falcons of Nigeria will round off the trip in Japan where the focus will be on acclimatizing for the tournament where the Ghanaians hope to go beyond the first round for the first time.

The qualifiers which will take the form of round robin of six teams automatically qualifies the winner whilst the runner up will engage the victor from the Confederation of Central and North American Football (CONCACAF) in a play-off to determine who picks the additional slot.
