Queens fail To make Finals

Nigeria to meet Cameroon Cameroon reached the final of the African Women's Championship for the first time by beating Ghana's Black Queens 1-0 in Johannesburg.

After the match ended goalless in normal time, the Indomitable Lionesses struck the winner six minutes into extra-time when Bella Francoise fired home.

Ghana, who reached two of the last three finals, had high hopes of becoming the first team to dethrone Nigeria as the queens of the African game.

But Cameroon took advantage of Ghana's poor match plan to upset the formbooks.

Nigeria beat Ethiopia 4-0 in the semi-final of the African Women's Championship in Johannesburg on Tuesday to set up a grande finale against neighbours Cameroon on Sunday.
