Quansah terminates contract with Arsenal Kyiv

Midfielder Abeiku Quansah has terminated his contract with Ukrainian side Arsenal Kyiv, MTNFootball.com can confirm.

MTNFootball understands the former Ghana youth international mutually agreed to leave due to the club’s financial constraints.

Quansah was unpaid for six months before the end of last season.

The 22-year-old winger moved to Arsenal Kyiv from French Ligue 1 outfit Nice in 2011.

He managed only 13 Ukrainian Premier League appearances. Quansah was a member of the Ghana team which won the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Egypt 2009.

He was played at the 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup finals in Korea where the Black Starlets won bronze.
