Precious win - Sellas Tetteh

Ghana savoured their victory in the AYC here today, with coach Sellas Tetteh terming it " a precious win and a deserved one".

In a tight cup final, Ghana edged Cameroon 2-0 to win the 16th Edition and their first under 20 event since 1999. And coach Tetteh told his Cameroonian counterpart Alain Wabo "to stop shouting and threatening his opponents before any match." My young brother here threatened to demoslish Ghana and make us have nowhere to hide. I want to advise him to talk carefully in future." Tetteh said at a press Conference attended by both coaches..

Wabo had on Wednesday, threatened Ghana with total demolition after his side swept Nigeria in the semi final. And yesterday, Wabo conceded defeat saying" I had warned Ghana, but today my team confronted a very organised Ghana team. I congratulate them for the victory. In football it is normal to win or lose. Today we have lost and I must admit my boys did not play as per our plan."

Wabo congratulated the people of Rwanda for organising a successful event and asked other African countries to emulate the East and Central African nation.
