Pompey still in the hunt for Muntari

According to Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo, Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has not given up on signing Sulley Muntari.

Despite having failed in a late bid to secure Muntari, Portsmouth boss Harry Redkanpp is still interested in the services of the Ghanaian international and will reportedly swoop for 22-year-old in the summer.

“I’m sorry for Sulley, who really wanted to join Portsmouth,” said Giampaolo Pozzo

“They have offered only £8m. He(Muntari) must understand that we couldn’t sell him for such little amount of money.

“I think Portsmouth have not given up on Muntari and will try to land the player in the summer”

“However, they will have to spend £10m.”
