Ovwien, Delta State, Nov 3, GNA - The Skipper of the Black Queens, Adjoa Bayor says patience will be their watch word when they meet the Democratic Republic of Congo in a last group game on Saturday. The skilful midfielder told the GNA Sports in Ovwien in Nigeria that "playing the DR Congo always require a lot of patience and with that as the watch word, I'm sure victory will be ours".

The Queens will be playing for pride in the game slated for the Ughelli Stadium.

The Ghanaians have already qualified to the semi final stage of the African Women Championship whilst the Congolese are placed at the bottom of the four-team table.

The Ghanaian Skipper who plies her trade in China said, "the Congolese are often tough and physical.

"But the good news is that after moving past Cameroon, our ability to exercise patience has gotten to all time high and that quality will remain our key to success tomorrow (Saturday)".

Bayor is yet to score at the competition but told the GNA Sports that "Even though I will have loved to be finding the net like I always do, I have other added responsibilities as a skipper now and my focus at the moment is to play a maximum role that will ensure we win even if I am not the one scoring".

The creative midfielder reckons the Congolese will come pretty tough but remains buoyant that the Queens regarded as the favourites will win the competition as it prevails.

Ghana is making her fifth attempt at gold in the championship and the skipper is among the few who have featured in all four previous competitions that has been won by the Falcons since its inception. For Bayor, the clarion cry is "Now or Never".
