PLB salutes Satellites

Accra, Feb 3, GNA - The Premier League Board (PLB) has congratulated

the National Under-21 tea, the Black Satellites for winning the 16th Africa Youth Championship (AYC).

A statement signed by Kweku Ampim Darko Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said the achievement of the team has once again lifted the flag of Ghana high and also signified the nation's potential in the world of soccer.

"It is our hope you would replicate this performance at the World Youth Championship to be held in Egypt later this year," the Statement said.

It added that, "for us at the PLB, the fact most players of the Satellites featured in the Glo Premier League makes us proud and we count on you to win more laurels in the coming years". 03 Feb. 09
