PERSCOBA 75/77 presents set of jerseys to alma mater

Nkwatia-Kwahu(ER), March 16, GNA - Members of 1975/77 Year Group of Saint Peter's Secondary School Old Boys Association (PERSCOBA) at the week-end presented a set of jerseys, a football and an inflator (pump) worth GH¢145 to their alma mater. Mr Alexander Osei, President of the Group making the presentation during their first meeting for 2009 on campus said it was to strengthen the bond of friendship between them and the school authorities. He said the Group had assisted in activities of the school including presentation of books and awards during their annual speech and prize-giving day and infrastructure development. Mr David Affram, Headmaster of the school receiving the items, said it would help promote soccer in the school. He expressed appreciation to the Group for their tremendous assistance to the school and appealed to other alumni to emulate their example especially infrastructure development. A fun match between the Group and tutors ended in a 1-1 draw. 16 March 09
