Owusu strikes double as Kotoko reach FA Cup Round of 16

Asante Kotoko advanced to the round of 16 stage of the MTN FA Cup with a 2-0 win over lowly rated Real 24 hours in Tumu on Saturday.

Striker Obed Owusu scored in each half to confirm kotoko's place in the Round of 16.

The Porcupines despite complaining about bad condition of the Tumu pitch, put up a stellar display to overcome the home side who gave a good account of themselves.

The former Berekum Chelsea striker put Kotoko ahead in the first half with a decent strike before sealing progression in the dying embers of the game.

The match forms part of Kotoko's preparations for their Ghana premier league clash against Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu next Wednesday.
