Owusu set for Lions' den

Striker Lloyd Owusu looks almost certain to sign for First Division Millwall despite growing interest in him from a string of clubs.

Owusu, out of contract in June, has been linked with Leicester, Nottingham Forest, Burnley and most recently Oldham Athletic.

But the player is now on his holidays so no deal is likely to be concluded until at lasts the end of May.

However a move across London to The Lions, whose boss Mark McGhee failed with a ?250,000 bid for the front man just before deadline day, looks the most likely outcome.

Owusu, a ?15,000 signing from Slough, has no interest in staying at Brentford because he feels the team is being broken up and is unhappy at not being offered a new contract.
