Owusu ‘Ninja’ pledges come back

…Contemplates becoming a pastor in future After several seasons in hibernation, Isaac Owusu ‘Ninja’ has announced from a distant city of Kumasi of his return to the elite league soonest, “Where are they” understands.

He told Happy FM’s sports morning show host Charles Osei Asibey in an exclusive interview that he has recovered fully from a career threatening injury, and would not hesitate to join any premier club for the forthcoming league.

The former Asante Kotoko skipper said that: “Injury has relegated me to the background for sometime now, but I can say that I am fully fit now and started training feverishly anticipating to join any premier side.” Ninja considers the Kotoko-WAC, Morocco Cup Winners Cup finals in Kumasi as his best shot despite losing the silverware to the north Africans. “Although we lost the game to WAC in the final, I believe I played above myself, it is the memorable occasion in my career,” added the defender. Reacting to whether or not Ghana still has a pool of defenders as it was the case in the past, he responded in the affirmative saying, “The performance of the Black Stars in the South Africa World Cup is enough testament-they conceded less goals.” According to Ninja , he is seriously considering becoming a preacher of the gospel when he hangs his boots in future.
