Executive Officer of Ghana League champions Wa All Stars, Samuel Oduro Nyarko, says the team’s ambition for next season is to clinch the ultimate in continental club football.

All Stars surprised many by winning the 2015/16 Ghana League trophy, becoming the first team from the three northern regions to achieve that feat.

The Wa based club this week offered head coach Enos Adepah a two-year contract extension to ward off interest from Ghana’s big clubs.

Nyarko revealed to Ultimate Sports that coach Adepah has set a target of winning the prestigious CAF Champions League and also win every trophy competed for once the season kick-start.

“Our target is to win the champions league and the league title. We are setting ourselves to win the ultimate.”

“You don’t go into battle with the hope to lose but rather win.
“We will win the Ghalca G-6, defend the league title and try to win the champions league. When we succeed all of us have succeeded.”

All Stars, together with Bechem United will be Ghana’s sole representatives in the continental competition after winning the league trophy and MTN FA Cup respectively.
