Otto Addo loses Hamburg top job

Hamburg have named former Netherlands boss Bert van Marwijk as their new manager after axing Thorsten Fink last week.

Fink was dismissed following a 6-2 hammering by Dortmund, with Hamburg languishing third from bottom on the Bundesliga table with just four points from their opening six games.

Before now, former Ghana international Otto Addo was placed in joint charge of the struggling club on an interim basis.

HSV have now turned to the experienced van Marwijk, who led the Dutch to the 2010 World Cup final, in a bid to turn around their fortunes.
