Orlando Pirates chairman hails Morrison signing

Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of AS Vita and Ghanaian attacker, Bernard Morrison and their chairman has followed up to hail the signing of the 23-year-old.

The Ghanaian forward becomes the latest player to join the Buccaneers ahead of the 2016/17 season after they moved to land the likes of Marshall Munetsi earlier this week.

There had been reports that the 23-year-old was on the verge of joining Pirates after some comments from his head coach, Florent Ibenge, to SABC Sport earlier this week, and his signing has now been confirmed by the club.

““An agreement has been reached and signed after a revised offer was sent to AS Vita,” chairman said

“ We are happy with this acquisition and trust that Morrison will have a successful stay at the club.”
