Opoku Nti set to stay on as Kotoko chief

Footy-ghana.com has gathered that the acting Chief Executive of Asante Kotoko, Samuel Opoku Nti will have his mandate extended by the club’s Board of Directors until the end of the current football season.

According to our sources, the Board of Directors believe that after Opoku Nti’s original three-month mandate ends on December 4, there will be too little time to go through the process of appointing a substantive Chief Executive, especially as the season is still in session.

Footy-ghana.com understands that the Asante Kotoko legend will be asked to stay on until the end of the season, when the position will be advertised.
