Asante Kotoko C.E.O Opoku Nti is certain that his side will emerge from their slow start to the season and win the ultimate when all is said and done.

The Porcupine Warriors have had a disappointing start to the season with just a point from their first two games.

An opening day defeat to WAFA was swiftly followed by a an entertaining 2-2 draw game at home against MTN FA Cup winners Medeama last Sunday.

The nature of the two games has seen premium being placed on the next game against Ashgold, which is scheduled for Wednesday 9th of March.

But Chief Executive officer Opoku Nti says he is sure of a response that will bring the title home.

“Losing the first game was a little by worrying, because our supporters expected more from us,” he told Peace FM.

“But we have gone to the drawing board to correct our mistakes and working ahead of the game against Medeama on Sunday.

“We must win that game, a quest to clinch the trophy is still on course even though we lost our opening game, I still believe we will win the trophy."
