Olympics thrash Kotoko in Indece Day Cup game

Great Olympics handed Asante Kotoko a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Independence Day Cup match on Friday.

Two goal hero Francis Attuquaye combined with Doetsey Agbeshie to hand Great Olympics victory in the Cup game.

Legendary Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson and other aging stars including Dan Quaye and Godwin Attram all featured for Olympics in the game organized to mark Ghana’s 58th Independence Day celebrations.

Both sides will return to action in the Premier League on Sunday with Asante Kotoko hosting Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday while Olympics tackle Inter Allies at the Accra Stadium.
