Oly In Search Of A Billion Cedis

Accra Great Olympics needs about one billion cedis to offset debts and set the club on course before the next football league begins. This was revealed to Mailsports by club Chairman Ade Coker after the club's emergency meeting in Accra last week.

Speaking to Mailsports on the telephone, Ade Coker revealed that the club has eyes on some players, "but where is the wherewithal". He also explained that the players retained should be decently handled and thanked them for a job well done in the last football season.

Ade Coker praised the effort of some Olympics supporters who are helping. Asked how the money would be made available, Ade Coker said those of us in the saddle will have to levy ourselves with the supporters also contributing their widow's mite.

Club President is sure Olympics will perform its wonders in the coming season and called on all sympathisers, friends and lovers of the blue and white club to help towards the betterment and progress of the club.
