Oguaa United beat Denkyira United

Cape Coast, Jan 14, GNA - An 88th minute goal scored by midfielder, Ebenezer Coleman, enabled Oguaa United to beat Denkyira United 2-1 in their outstanding Division Two league match played at the Robert Mensah stadium on Saturday.

After the blast of referee Jeffrey Amamoo's whistle, it was Denkyira United who dominated play and outplayed the home team in the first half and went ahead to score the opener in the 43rd minute through their midfielder, Azuma Dominic.

Oguaa United gradually warned themselves into the game and following series of attacks in their opponent's vital goal area, they leveled up the scores in the 73rd minute through inside left, Kofi Aggrey. The game from then on became balanced and just as proceedings was drawing to an end outside right Ebenezer Coleman in the 88th minute raised his side's goal tally to two through a spot kick. Just after the referee whistled for the end of the match, there was free for all fight between the two clubs during which centre half Ebenezer Coleman of Oguaa United was injured.
