Oguaa United beat Assin Dompim Ahofra Royal

Cape Coast, Jan 21, GNA - Oguaa United on Friday registered their second home win in the Central Region Second Division Two league when they beat Assin Dompim Ahofra Royals 2-0 in their outstanding league match played at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah stadium.

Right from the blast of the referee's whistle, Oguaa United outplayed their opponents and scored the opener in the 61st minute through midfielder Albert Annan Mensah.

The visiting team forced the tide in their favour thereafter and made several efforts to find the equalizer but the defence of Oguaa United ably repulsed their attack and kept them at bay.

Getting to the end of proceedings, Ahofra Royals made two changes but the changes did not deter Oguaa United as they went ahead to raise their goal tally to two through substitute Nassar Adams, in the 75th minute.
