Odotei: Ghana League not good enough

A former CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei, claims the standard of the Ghana league has lowered over the past years.
He made the observation after witnessing the First Capital Plus league match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium last Wednesday.
“You look at the performance of a team lying 2nd on the league log? The standard of the Hearts- Dwarfs game was unacceptable, and this has confirmed the poor standard of play in the league.
“Although I was surprised to see Kotoko kicked out by BYC of Liberia, the poor state of the league doesn’t make it news anymore. The league has been deteriorating year after year,” he told Kumasi based, Metro FM.
“I am urging the GFA to put in place a policy to remedy the situation,” Odotei added.
Odotei who says he is no more interested in contesting for the Ghana FA Presidency, is currently out of active football management after quitting his job as CEO of King Faisal two years ago.
