Obodai Returns After Injury

Ajax Amsterdam's Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Obodai has returned to action after a two week injury break.

The 21 year old midfielder played in Ajax's 1-0 victory over Utrecht which sent them top of the table in Holland last Sunday.

Obodai picked up an ankle injury in their match against AC Milan some weeks ago and confirmed to GHANAWEB in a telephone interview that he has fully recovered.

He played in their match against NAC Breda yesterday in the Dutch Cup as they lost 0-1. He was substituted by Rafael van der Vaart in the 52nd minute.His other Ghanaian colleague with Ajax Yakubu Abubakari was shown the red card in the 83rd minute of yesterday's match
