Nuru Sulley’s Alanyaspor drubbed by Besiktas

Ghanaian defender Nuru Sulley opened his Turkish Super Liga debut on a bad note as Alanyaspor got battered 4-1 by giants Besiktas.

Sulley was handed a starting berth by coach Kalpar, lasting the entire duration, however, did little to help his team escape the wrath of Besiktas at Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.

Besiktas race to 4-0 lead before Akbaba scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot for Alanyaspor in the dying embers of the game.

The former Hearts of Oak player was imperious form the Alanya club qualified to the Turkish top-flight. He will be expected to recorver from shambolic start to once again guide them to a respectable finsih on the table.
